This feature is useful to convey detailed information quickly. It’s perfect for situations where tone and clarity are important, ensuring your message is understood exactly as intended.

The voice memo feature is particularly beneficial for insurance-related communications, where it can serve as a recorded statement from a customer. This ensures that important information is accurately captured in the customer’s own words, which can be crucial for claims processing and assessments.

How to Send a Voice Memo via Text on Hi Marley

We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows end users to send voice memos directly via text!

This feature simplifies communication and provides a more personal touch to your interactions.

 

How It Works:

  1. Sending a Voice Memo:
    • Simply open your messaging app and create a new text message.
    • Press and hold the microphone icon (usually found near the text input area) to record your voice memo.
    • Once you've finished recording, release the button to send the voice memo as an audio file.

     2. Receiving the Voice Memo on Hi Marley:

  • On the Hi Marley platform, the voice memo will appear as an audio media file message.
  • You can easily play the audio directly within our application by clicking on the file.
  • The audio file can be played back directly within the conversation thread.
  • You have the option to replay, pause, and control the volume of the audio.

     3. Webhook Integration:

    • Just like all media files on our platform, the voice memo media file is available via our message webhook API. This allows for seamless integration with your existing systems, ensuring that voice memos can be accessed and processed as part of your automated workflows.
