Notifications
The "Notifications" view is the location to see, schedule, and plan Outreach messages.
Table View
Notification Name
The purpose of this name is to help you differentiate the various mass notifications that were created or sent in the system. It will also be given as a filter option for the Insights Dashboard. The Notification Name will not be customer-facing unless it is written in the text message.
Date Created
This data reports the day the notification was created.
Scheduled Date
Displays the date/ time a notification is scheduled to go out.
Sent Messages/ Total Messages
This column displays how many messages have been sent out in comparison to the total number of messages. This is helpful to review if a carrier has used throttling to manage the rate of messages sent out per hour.
Status
The status describes what stage of the process the notification is in.
- Validation- This step validates the CSV and prepares it to be sent. This is where the number validation would happen and any error messages would occur.
- Ready to send- This is when the CSV has uploaded correctly and is ready to send. All actions under the “Actions” drop-down will be available to click/ download except the “Download transcript” option.
- Sending/ Processing- The notification is in process of sending. Depending on the CSV file size it could take a bit to send.
- Scheduled- This status displays that a notification has been scheduled to go out by a certain date/time.
- Delivered (with a checkmark icon)- This status relay's that the notification has been sent as a text message to the customers. All actions are available under the “Actions” dropdown except “Send notification." Note- There could still be individual message errors (which can be found in the error report).
- Surpassed Max Entries - This indicates that the Outreach notification exceeded the 100,000 message limit. Delete it and create a new one with less than 100,000 messages.
- Error- This status represents that there's been a problem uploading the CSV. Under the “Actions” tab, only the “View notification,” “Download CSV template,” and “Delete notification” are options. Exp. Invalid CSV format
