Workflow Assist Media Sync for Xactimate allows carriers using Hi Marley Workflow Assist™ and the XactAnalysis® integration to automatically send inbound Hi Marley photos to Verisk's Xactimate® media section. This helps adjusters access the same claim photos in Xactimate that are already being synced to XactAnalysis, making it easier to support estimating and claim review workflows.
Who can use this feature?
This feature is available to carriers that use:
- Hi Marley Workflow Assist™
- The Verisk XactAnalysis® integration
- Xactimate® media workflows
The Xactimate media sync is controlled by a carrier-level integration setting in Hi Marley. The setting is turned off by default and must be enabled by an admin before photos will sync to Xactimate.
How the Xactimate media sync works
When the Xactimate media sync is enabled, inbound photos sent to Hi Marley are automatically sent to the media section in Xactimate using Verisk's Add Image API.
The Xactimate media sync uses the same trigger as the existing XactAnalysis sync. Any photos sent to Xactimate match exactly what Hi Marley sends to XactAnalysis today.

Before you begin
Before enabling this setting, confirm that your organization is already configured for Workflow Assist and the XactAnalysis integration.
You must also have admin access in Hi Marley to update integration settings. If you do not see the setting described below, contact your Hi Marley Customer Success Manager or Support team to confirm that the feature is available for your organization.
Enable Workflow Assist Media Sync for Xactimate
- Log in to Hi Marley as an admin.
- Go to Settings.
- Open the Integrations settings area.
- Select the Verisk or XactAnalysis integration configuration for your carrier.
- Locate the setting for Xactimate media sync.
- Turn the setting on.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, eligible inbound photos will sync to Xactimate automatically when the existing XactAnalysis sync is triggered.
What operators need to do
Operators do not need to take any extra action to send photos to Xactimate. After the setting is enabled, inbound photos continue to be received in Hi Marley as usual and are synced automatically when the applicable Verisk sync trigger occurs.
Notes and FAQs
Does this change what is sent to XactAnalysis?
No. This feature adds a sync to Xactimate in addition to the existing XactAnalysis sync. Photos sent to Xactimate match the photos currently sent to XactAnalysis.
Are photos sent to Xactimate as soon as they are received in Hi Marley?
Photos are sent using the same trigger as the existing XactAnalysis sync. If your organization has questions about the timing of that trigger, contact your Hi Marley Customer Success Manager or Support team.
Is the setting enabled automatically?
No. The carrier-level setting defaults to off. An admin must enable the Xactimate media sync in Hi Marley integrations settings.
Can this be configured separately by carrier?
Yes. The Xactimate media sync is controlled by a carrier-level toggle in Hi Marley integrations settings.
What types of media are included?
This release supports syncing inbound photos to Xactimate. Other media types are not included unless separately configured or supported by your organization's integration.
Who should I contact if photos are not appearing in Xactimate?
If the setting is enabled but photos are not appearing in Xactimate, contact Hi Marley Support. Include the case details, the approximate time the photo was received in Hi Marley, and whether the photo was successfully sent to XactAnalysis.
