New Features
Quiet Hours
Available to: Open Beta — contact your Hi Marley account team to enable it for your organization
What's New
Quiet Hours prevents automated and partner-triggered messages from reaching policyholders outside configured business hours. Messages triggered during quiet hours are queued and delivered at the start of the next business day, so policyholders aren't disturbed by overnight welcome messages, reassignment notifications, surveys, or API-driven messages. Customer-initiated replies always send immediately, and operators can override to send right away when needed.
Benefits
- Protects the policyholder experience — no late-night messages
- Inbound replies send immediately; operators can override for urgent cases
- One place to configure: a single org-level setting using centralized Active Hours
- Built for 24/7 operations — overnight batch claims and offshore intake without disturbing policyholders
How It Works
Timezone is based on the primary contact's zip code, falling back to the org timezone. Queued messages release in order at the start of business hours. Specific customer-initiated messages, such as opt-in and opt-out logic, will always fire immediately. Manual adjuster messages show a warning during quiet hours with one click to schedule or send now. Carriers have the ability to bypass on a message-by-message basis with a new field in the API.
Feature Enhancements
Partner Integration Enhancements
Smarter Timing for Partner Reminders
Available to: Carriers using partner-triggered reminders
What's New
Partner workflows now support dynamic reminders — instead of a fixed delay after an event, reminders are scheduled to arrive when policyholders are actually available to act.
Benefits
- Reminders reach policyholders at the right moment, improving completion rates
- Timing respects the policyholder's local timezone and quiet hours
- Pending reminders cancel automatically once the action is completed
Exact Inspection Times in Verisk Messages
Available to: Carriers receiving exact inspection times from Verisk
What's New
A new message token, $veriskInspectionExactTime, lets carriers surface the precise inspection appointment time directly in policyholder SMS.
Benefits
- Policyholders get exact appointment details, reducing confusion and inbound calls
- Carriers can tailor message templates to the right level of detail
- Carriers not receiving exact times are unaffected
One-Click Sync to Keep Partner Integrations Up to Date
Available to: Alias operators managing partner integration config
What's New
When Hi Marley updates a partner's configuration, alias operators now see a "Sync available" prompt in the integration config page, with a preview of exactly what will change across all workflows before anything is applied — one confirmation syncs everything.
Benefits
- Always know when a partner config update is waiting, without asking Hi Marley
- Preview exactly what changes before committing, across every workflow at once
- One action syncs all workflows simultaneously
Enable or Disable Partner Workflows with Listening Mode
Available to: System Admins managing partner integrations
What's New
Partner workflows can now be toggled on or off directly from the workflow configuration. When disabled, a workflow enters Listening Mode — it still receives partner events but takes no action.
Benefits
- Pause a workflow during testing or maintenance without missing events
- See how a workflow would perform before fully enabling it
- Give carriers a safe way to validate their integration before going live
Admin Settings Improvements
Available to: Org Admins / System Admins
What's New
Admins have more direct, self-service control from the settings area:
- Reorganized Settings for easier navigation — SSO (Single Sign-On) now lives under Security, and Out-of-Office Messages now live under System Messages, grouping related configurations together. Settings, values, and behavior are unchanged; only the location moved, and existing links still work.
- Emoji support is now a visible, toggleable option on the Features page (Messaging category), rather than being managed behind the scenes. It stays enabled by default unless previously disabled.
Benefits
- Self-service visibility and control over settings that were previously managed behind the scenes
- A clearer, more intuitive Settings page that makes configurations easier to find and manage
Bug Fixes
Integrations
- Copart assignment SMS messages now show address fields in the correct order, and assignments with no secondary address no longer include a stray comma.
