What are Message Sentiment Scores?
Message Sentiment Scores are numeric representations of sentiment within individual messages. Every inbound message on Hi Marley is tagged with 4 Message Sentiment Scores. The four Message Sentiment Scores are positive, neutral, mixed, and negative sentiment. For an individual message, all four Message Sentiment Scores add up to 1.0.
For example, an inbound SMS processed by Hi Marley's Sentiment Message Intelligence may be given a weighted average of .25 positive, .60 neutral, .10 mixed, and .05 negative.
Here is some additional information about the different Message Sentiment Scores that Hi Marley measures:

Positive – The text expresses an overall positive sentiment.

Negative – The text expresses an overall negative sentiment.

Mixed – The text expresses both positive and negative sentiments.

Neutral – The text does not express either positive or negative sentiments.
